1. 短路報警指示：短路傳感器在工作中檢測線路的電流，當線路發生短路故障且故障電流達到或超過報警電流整定值時，短路傳感器發出報警信號，通過光纖傳輸給主機，主機接收到此信號后，產生相應的報警指示信號。
2. 接地報警指示：接地傳感器在工作中檢測線路的零序電流，當線路發生接地故障且接地故障電流達到或超過報警電流整定值時，接地傳感器發出報警信號，通過光纖傳輸到主機，主機接收到此信號后，產生相應的報警指示信號。
3. 自動復位 ：當指示器發出報警信號后，如果無人工復位，則指示器將在設定的復位時間內自動復位。
4. 人工復位 ：當指示器產生報警后，可通過觸發指示器主機面板上的“ 復位/ 測試”按鈕進行復位，以解除報警。
5. 測試 ：指示器可進行工作性能自檢。通過按下主機面板上的“ 復位/ 測試”按鈕并保持1.5 秒進行測試。
6． 智能化：指示器產生指示報警信號后，可將報警信號輸出遠傳。也可接收遠方的復位信號，對指示器進行遠方復位
操作。
